Kei-apple is an indigenous, evergreen, versatile all-rounder with a non-invasive root system. It can be planted on its own, on a border, or as a screen. Prune it to create a compact neat shape that makes it ideal for confined areas, plant it in a container, or use it as a bonsai. The foliage is dense and the branches have thorns which make it an excellent choice for a security hedge.
